Booking Terms and Conditions
 

We want our lessons to be fun and provide you with the best possible experience, so when joining any of our courses it is a good idea to check the terms and conditions.

By booking any of our courses, you agree to accept our terms and conditions.

What's included in the cost of our courses
All materials and equipment will be provided. Refreshments (tea, coffee and cold drinks and snacks) are included on all course but lunch is not included.

Lesson notes are included.

One (or more depending on the circumstance) pieces created at the wheel can be glazed, fired and posted out to you after the end of the course.

What's not included in the cost of our courses
Course fees do not include travel or accommodation.

Lunch is not provided on the day long workshops.

Tools and equipment used in the workshop cannot be taken home.

Health and safety
You will receive a short briefing on health and safety at the start of your course.

We will supply you with an apron and other protective equipment where appropriate. Please wear clothes you won’t mind getting messy and shoes with covered toes. It can get cold in our studio in winter but hot in the summer so please wear layers! No loose jewellery please and long hair to be tied back. We are not liable to any damage that occurs to clothing.

Age requirements
Suitable for people over the age of 18.

Special requirements
Pleae do let us know in advance if you have any disabilities or other special requirements you would like us to be aware of. Our building has a lift for any access requirements.

Booking

Full payment is required at the time of booking. You will receive an email confirmation and we’ll email you again nearer to the start date to finalise details. You can email us at any time to discuss requirements and we’ll be happy to help. 

Cancellations and Refunds

We’re a small business with limited resource so we ask that you please consider your course booking carefully before purchasing. However sometimes life is not simple and we understand you may need to cancel. Please notify us by email (info@potterywest.co.uk). We will not offer refunds on cancellations less than 21 days before the start of a course.


Refunds

If you qualify for a refund you are able to request one. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process. Unfortunately we are unable to refund for courses booked using gift vouchers but we can hold it on account for upto 1 year.

Non-attendance

Refunds will not be given to any bookings not attended without prior cancellation.

Cancellations by Pottery West

In the event that Pottery West cancels a course, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund of payment already received. We will give as much notice as possible and will notify you using the details given at the time of booking so please make sure they are correct.

LIABILITY

Pottery West does not accept any liability for lost or damaged possessions and will not be liable for any loss suffered by you resulting from any event which is beyond the reasonable control of Pottery West

The course content is carefully developed by our team and the illustrated lesson notes provided are for personal use only and should not be shared without the written permission of Pottery West.
