powder

Powder is a pale blue, with celadon hues (although not a true celadon, this is fired in oxidation). Up close you can see that the colour is made from many tiny crystals, like pixels or brush strokes.

On Flecked Stoneware. A ‘washed’, and diltuted appearance of colour with evident tonal variations where the glaze is thicker or thinner. Lots of iron speckles coming through from the flecked clay.

On Pale Stoneware. A more even, brighter and cleaner colour than on the fleked clay. Elegant.
