Something familiar but not lacking in interest - ‘sand’ is a simple glaze using red iron oxide as its main colourant. Lots of iron speckles and warm tones.
On Flecked Stoneware. A ‘washed’ and speckled orange / red / brown.
On Pale Stoneware. A slightly paler, brighter and cleaner version than on the flecked clay.
