My job in three words are: Mamma. Baker. Grower.

A description of my bakery would be… A little neighbourhood bakery standing out quietly - simple things, made well.

We work with local farmers and organic flour mills and have a no dig bakery allotment where we grow seasonal fruit and flowers for the bakery.

There is something special about picking your produce, cycling back to the bakery and  baking with it.

The bake I’m most proud of is…  Le Croissant , simplicity is beautiful.

My biggest inspiration is… Mother Nature - I have grown to understand if we are kind to nature, nature is kind to us.

I love spending days at the allotment with my children with the sun on our face or hiding under the apple tree from the rain and running home with big buckets of home grown flowers.

My wardrobe staple is… TOAST overalls and bandana to tie my hair back for the bakery.

I’m currently reading… Julius Roberts - The Farm Table

I find myself thinking a lot about… Balancing my home and bakery life like most mothers.

The music we play in the bakery is… Chet baker / Boa Vista Social club/ Gilberto Gil

The thing that most excites me right now is… Bright Pink forced Rhubarb- grown by candlelight in Yorkshire by Rhubarb Robert.

I’m quite afraid of… What is happening in Gaza.

On my wish-list is… Peace  for all children. To learn to become more sustainable. Learn to make ceramics. Spend more time around creative people.

My favourite tea to drink is… Ginger and lemon.

My best bakery secret / tip is… Keep it simple and seasonal.

My message to the world is that… With the right support creative mothers can still be truly amazing. We stay small but we shine brighter together.
