Tall mug thrown in a pale stoneware and glazed in a delicate chun glaze - gas fired in June 2023. The glaze is glossy with subtle hints of blue. This opalescent colour is caused by light refracting off the micro bubbles in the glaze, alongside trace amounts of iron reacting in the reduction atmosphere. Some subtle iron flecking too.
