Faceted beaker thrown in a flecked stoneware and reduction fired in a gas kiln. This piece is glazed in our pale blue chun glaze, with brushstrokes of iron oxide at the top of each facet. These beakers are great for a variety of uses, cold drinks and hot drinks alike, or you could use as a stem vase, coupled with a small Kenzan. Each piece is thrown carefully at the wheel and faceted by hand.

8.4cm x 9.8cm / Usable Capacity 190ml / Capacity when full 230ml - due to the nature of the faceting there is some variability so please take these dimensions as a guide.

Safety information:

Microwave safe. Not to be used on direct heat sources such as ovens, stovetops or fires.

This piece is dishwasher safe, but we always recommend washing your handmade pottery by hand in order to prolong its lifespan.

Be careful not to expose the pot to sudden temperate changes such as pouring boiling water into a chilled vessel as this can cause cracking and breakage.

Take care when handling pottery. Pots are breakable and can be delicate and may chip, crack or shatter if dropped. Keep out of reach of children and pets to prevent injury and / or breakage.
