Small cup thrown in a flecked stoneware and glazed in a glossy wood ash glaze with hakeme brushwork. The pattern is made with slip (liquid clay), painted using an hakeme brush. This simple cup works well for espresso or as an additional cup to go with our coffee drip set. It is also very nice as a small pot for adding a kenzan to in order to create floral displays.
