Pouring Bowl thrown in an iron-rich flecked stoneware and glazed in a glossy tenmoku type glaze with a layer of chun over the top, resulting in an unusual and beautiful surface pattern. Gas fired in 2025. Could be used either as a functional mixing bowl or as a display piece - we think this is quite a special piece.

Safety information:

Microwave safe. Not to be used on direct heat sources such as ovens, stovetops or fires.

This piece is dishwasher safe, but we always recommend washing your handmade pottery by hand in order to prolong its lifespan.

Be careful not to expose the pot to sudden temperate changes such as pouring boiling water into a chilled vessel as this can cause cracking and breakage.

Take care when handling pottery. Pots are breakable and can be delicate and may chip, crack or shatter if dropped. Keep out of reach of children and pets to prevent injury and / or breakage. 

Intended use: food safe tableware.
